II AWARENESS DAY

UAM - 2030 AGENDA

The Universidad Autónoma de Madrid continues with the implementation process of the UN 2030 Agenda and invites once again the university community and all people interested in getting to know the new compact for global development, the commitments undertaken and the implication of the University in this new world scene to participate in the II AWARENESS DAY UAM – 2030 AGENDA  «Environmental Sustainability and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)». OpenEUdebate joins the conference to invite the entire university community to take part in debates on the future of Europe from expert knowledge on sustainability in different disciplines.

The event will take place the following Monday, April 1st 2019 in the Conference Hall  (Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales, UAM) from 9:30 am to 6 pm.  Specialists devoted to the dissemination of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and key people at the University in the transmission of the goals and objectives of the 2030 Agenda will be involved as well.

Moreover, the II Edition of the Program «Mobility ODS and Global Citizenship», which aims to provide the opportunity for students from the UAM to travel for 1 or 3 months to countries in the south where they can learn about projects and programs related to the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs, will be launched during the event.
